New Plymouth District Council has received an application for resource consent to subdivide two 1.2ha industrial lots and a land use application for industrial activities on Rural Zoned land with an Operative Future Urban Development overlay.
Overall the proposal is a Non-Complying activity under the Operative District Plan. The activity status under the Proposed District Plan will be determined by the final Commissioner decisions on the appropriate zone and rule provisions affecting the site following the submissions and hearings process.
The closing date for submissions is 20 February 2023. New Plymouth District Council must receive your submission no later than 5pm. If you wish to make a submission on this application you may do so by sending a written submission to The Planning Lead, New Plymouth District Council, Private Bag 2025, New Plymouth 4342; or emailing applications@npdc.govt.nz. The submission must be in form 13. A signature is not required if you submit by electronic means.
The submission must be dated, signed by you, and include the following information:
Any person may make a submission on the application, but a person who is a trade competitor of the applicant may do so only if that person is directly affected by an effect of the activity to which the application relates that –

There may be a pre-hearing meeting and/or hearing. Any submitter can request to speak to their submission at a hearing. Please indicate in your submission if you would like to attend the pre-hearing meeting and/or appear at the hearing and be heard. Please also be reassured that your submission will have legal status whether you request to be heard or not.
