The service requires businesses and groups to opt-in. A start date is not yet confirmed but you can register your interest by filling out the application form now.
Businesses and groups that generate larger volumes of recycling and waste will need to organise a collection with a private waste management business.
Collection pick-up days and times
New Plymouth CBD’s collection day is Wednesday. The collection for all other businesses and community groups will be the same day as the residential collection for their area.
Bins and crates must be at the kerbside in the following areas by:
- New Plymouth CBD: 4.30am.
- Inglewood and Waitara CBDs, and businesses/groups on New Plymouth’s one-way system: 6am.
- All other business areas: 7am.
