Dogs for adoption

Cooper

  • Male
  • German Short Haired Pointer X Labrador
  • Approximately 2 years old

Sadie

  • Bull mastiff cross
  • Approximately 5 months old
  • Sadie is a sweet and gentle pup who will steal your heart with her loving nature. She’s smart and picks up training quickly, making her an ideal companion for a family ready to guide her through puppyhood.
  • As she grows, Sadie will need consistent training and plenty of exercise to keep her happy and healthy - perfect for an active household that enjoys walks and outdoor adventures. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who’s eager to learn and be part of your family, Sadie is waiting to meet you!

Spirit

  • Female
  • Heading dog cross
  • Approximately 1 year old
  • Spirit is a lively, playful sweetheart who’s guaranteed to brighten your day. She’s easy-going, loves attention, and forms bonds faster than you can say “best friend!” Whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, Spirit is all in - she just wants to be part of your world. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will shower you with affection and loyalty, Spirit is ready to make your home her happy place!
  • We are unsure how Spirit is the cats or stock.

How to adopt

Adoption costs:

  • Dogs under eight years old: $311
  • Dogs over eight years old: $152

This fee includes desexing, registration and microchipping.

To enquire please ring New Plymouth District Council on 06-759 6060 and ask for Animal Control. An adoption form will need to be completed to assess eligibility and suitability of new owners.
