Nala

  • Female
  • Labrador cross
  • Approximately 6 months old
  • Nala is a sweet, playful puppy with a big personality and an even bigger love for food! She’s a curious little explorer who is always ready to investigate the world around her and turn everyday moments into exciting adventures.
  • As a growing pup, Nala will need ongoing training, guidance, and plenty of patience to help her become the best companion she can be. She’s a bundle of energy who will thrive with an active family that can provide lots of exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to get out and about.
  • In return, Nala will reward you with endless love, fun, and affection. If you're looking for a loyal best friend to join you on life's adventures, Nala might just be the perfect match!

Chance

  • Male
  • Staffy cross
  • Approximately 3 months old
  • Chance is a typical puppy in all the best ways – sweet, playful, curious, and always ready to explore the world around him. He loves spending time with people and is growing into a lovely young dog with plenty of potential.
  • Chance is expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog, so he'll be looking for a home that's ready to invest the time and effort into raising a well-mannered adult companion. Like all puppies, he is still learning about the world and will need a family committed to guiding him through puppyhood with patience, consistency, and positive training.
  • As Chance grows, he'll need plenty of daily exercise, enrichment, and opportunities for adventure to keep him happy and healthy. With the right guidance and love, he's sure to develop into a loyal, affectionate companion who will be a cherished member of the family for years to come.

Blaze

  • Male
  • Mastiff cross
  • Approximately 2 years old
  • Blaze is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves everyone he meets. Weighing in at 33kg, he's a big lad with an even bigger heart. With his easy-going nature and affectionate personality, he's happiest simply being around his people and soaking up all the attention he can get.
  • Blaze gets along well with other dogs and enjoys making new friends, both two-legged and four-legged. He's a very happy boy who brings a positive energy wherever he goes.
  • While he's already a wonderful companion, Blaze would benefit from a little ongoing training to help him become the best version of himself. He's eager to please and loves being with people, making training a great opportunity to build a strong bond.
  • If you're looking for a loving, laid-back dog with a heart of gold, Blaze could be the perfect addition to your family!
  • We don’t know how Blaze is with cats or stock.

Ruby

  • Female
  • Border Collie cross
  • Approximately 2 years old
  • Ruby is a gorgeous girl with the sweetest nature. She can be a little shy when meeting new people and is a sensitive soul, but once she feels comfortable, her loving and affectionate personality really shines through.
  • Ruby enjoys the simple things in life and will make a calm, laid-back companion, especially when her daily exercise needs are met. A good walk each day and some time spent with her family are all she needs to be happy.
  • She’s great with children and would fit beautifully into a variety of homes. Whether it's joining the family on a farm, where she absolutely loves riding along on the side-by-side, or becoming a cherished member of a busy household with kids, Ruby is ready to be part of the adventure.

  • We are unsure how Ruby is with cats or stock.

How to adopt

Adoption costs:

  • Dogs under eight years old: $311
  • Dogs over eight years old: $152

This fee includes desexing, registration and microchipping.

To enquire please ring New Plymouth District Council on 06-759 6060 and ask for Animal Control. An adoption form will need to be completed to assess eligibility and suitability of new owners.
