Bromley Place Reserve Playground

We are closing the playground for a few months to make way for new equipment at this popular neighbourhood park in New Plymouth.

It is important to us that our playgrounds are fun, challenging and in good condition for kids to enjoy.

This playground was installed in 2003 and is looking a bit tired and we also want to even out the surface under the equipment, so it is all one level.

Among the new play equipment are:

  • A pirate tower with crow’s nest and rope climbing frame.
  • A timber module with seven activities including a mini slide, crawl through tunnel and abacus – suitable for toddlers.
  • Interactive play panels
  • Swing set – including a nest swing and a toddler swing.

We removed the play equipment on 4 April before starting the required earthworks. These will take a few months to settle in before the new equipment is installed.

Check out our playgrounds map for other playgrounds across the district.
