Pukekura Park's Fernery and Display Houses consist of three glass-topped caverns excavated into a hillside. Being below normal ground level, they create a temperate environment suited to display a wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants from around the world.

Tours: Free guided tours are available seven days a week. The Friends of the Park also run a buggy service for tours of Pukekura Park. Contact us to arrange.
Functions: The Fernery and Display Houses are a wonderful venue for wedding photos. For information and bookings contact us or call 06 759 6060.
The Fernery and Display Houses are located within Pukekura Park near the Rogan and Fillis street entrances (look for signs near the Tea House on the Lake).
There are two entrances into the complex:
Wheelchair and stroller access is possible on the upper mezzanine of the Display Houses via the Horton Walk entrance. Arrangements can be made for vehicle access to this entrance by phoning fernery staff on 06 759 6060.
