Road Closure

Gunners Incorporated has requested the closure
of the following roads to conduct the Taranaki
Street Drags.
Date and period of closure: from 5.30am to 6pm
on 9 March 2025.
Roads to be closed:
 Corbett Road from Connett Road to
DeHavilland Drive.
 Northbound lane of DeHavilland Drive from
Corbett to Swans roads.
 Swans Road from DeHavilland Drive to
Connett Road.
 Southbound lane of Connett Road to Corbett
Road.
The application is being considered under the
Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure)
Regulations 1965. Submissions to the closures
should reach New Plymouth District Council by
4pm on 4 December.
Submissions must be made on the road closure
form.
Emergency vehicles will have unrestricted access
at all times.
During the proposed period of closure, an
approved traffic management plan will provide for
ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise
use the roads.
