Visit Brooklands Zoo for a free, fun day out with whānau and friends to see exotic mammals, farmyard animals, reptiles, colourful birds and more.

Brooklands Zoo is temporarily closed from Monday 10 February due to Te Matatini and Womad being held at the Bowl of Brooklands. We look forward to welcoming you back when the gates reopen on Saturday 22 March!

Brooklands Zoo is home to a large variety of animals including capuchin monkeys, meerkats, parrots, tortoises, and many more.

After you’ve met all of our wonderful animals, stay a while and make the most of the playground and outdoor areas.

Our passionate zookeepers host talks twice-daily during weekends and school holidays so be sure to come along to hear fun facts and stories about life at Brooklands Zoo!
