  EMERGENCY WATER SUPPLY SHUTDOWN NOTICE: Blackmore Street Tuesday 14th May 9am

  The water supply will be shut down from 9am for approximately 30 minutes on Tuesday 14 May so that our contractor can do some emergency repairs.

  Water Supply Shutdown - Nikorima Street SH3 from Whakapaki Street to Ngakoti Street, 15 May, 10pm to 2am

  Including house numbers 1, 3, 5, 9, 11 and 13 Ngakoti Street

  The water supply will be shut down from 10pm until approximately 2am on Wednesday 15 May so that our contractor Downer can connect the new water main to the system.

  WATER SUPPLY SHUTDOWN NOTICE: Pembroke Street from house numbers 133-174, 15 May, 9am to 1pm

  Including all of Elm Grove and house numbers 25-55 Waimea Street

  The water supply will be shut down from 9am until approximately 1pm on Wednesday 15 May so that our maintenance contractor City Care Water can repair a leaking fire hydrant.

  WATER SUPPLY SHUTDOWN NOTICE: Nikorima Street SH3 from 16 Ngakoti Street through to Mokau Road, 14 May, 10pm to 2am

  Including all of Totara Street, Ngapapa Street no’s 2 – 8, 12, 13 & 14.  Mokau Road from 37 to 218 and Beach Road from Mokau Road to number 52.

  The water supply will be shut down from 10pm until approximately 2am on Tuesday 14 May so that our contractor Downer can connect the new water main to the system.

  Temporary Road Closure Carrington Street Monday 13 and Thursday 16 7am-3pm

  Accordingly, in terms of Section 342(1)(b) of the Local Government Act 1974 the Council directs that Carrington Street (In Sections, from Brown to Elliot Street) will be closed to all traffic 7:00am – 3:00pm from Monday 13 May and Thursday 16 May. (Weather Depending)

  
  Residents access will be provided.

  
  Note no closure of State Highway 3A
  
  Each closure will take max of 2 Hours.

  
  The road will reopen without further notice.

  Maintenance of Boat Shed bridge, Pukekura Park

  The Boat Shed bridge in Pukekura Park is undergoing scheduled maintenance until the end of May. The bridge will be closed during this time; please follow the detour signs.

  Temporary Road Closure Govett Ave from 29 April to 16 May

  Installation of new Transformer.

  Accordingly, in terms of Section 342(1)(b) of the Local Government Act 1974 the Council directs that Govett Ave (between Veale Road Fernleigh Street – Soft closure placed at Fernleigh end)   closed to all traffic on Monday 29 April to Friday 3 May closure in place 24/7

  Friday 3 May to Tuesday 16 May 7am – 6pm (Weather Depending)

  Residents access will be provided

  The road will reopen without further notice.

  Detours will be in place

  Temporary Road Closure Plymouth and Kirihau Road (Road closure dates between Wednesday 3 April until Sunday 30 June 7am-7pm)

  To conduct pole maintenance.

  These works will be completed over 58 days.

  Accordingly, in terms of Section 342(1)(b) of the Local Government Act 1974 the Council directs that Road closures will be completed over duration of 58 days.

  Works scheduled to commence between 3 April till 30 Jun 2024

  Road closure will only occur on below dates for multiple Shutdowns replacing of poles, reconduction and replacement of crossarms.

  • April 12th - Plymouth Road
  • April 16th - Plymouth Road
  • April 18th - Plymouth Road
  • April 23rd - Plymouth Road
  • May 2nd - Kirihau Road
  • May 7th - Kirihau Road
  • May 9th - Kirihau Road

  Detour will not be in place. 

  Closed to all traffic in septate sections as work processes from 7.00am-7.00pm from on above dates.

  Residents access will be provided.

  The road will reopen without further notice.

  During non-road closure dates, Worksite will consist of shoulder closures.

  Temporary Road Closure Ritimona and Ngapapa, Whakapaki and Ngatoki Street Urenui Monday 26 February until Friday 17 May 7am-6pm

  Urenui new watermain installation project. Moving road closures will take approx. 3 months for full project.

  Accordingly, in terms of Section 342(1)(b) of the Local Government Act 1974 the Council directs that Ritimona, Ngapapa, Whakapaki and Ngatoki Street will have moving road closures and will be closed to all traffic from 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday 26 February until Friday 17 May (some Saturday work may be included, Stop Go on State Highway and possible Night Works)

  Controlled and possibly restricted access for residents to properties.

  The road will reopen without further notice.
